From the Bluestone strewn hills of the Preseli’s, Pembrokeshire is a treasure trove of natural, unspoilt beauty that spills down to the sea, all the way to Wales’s Lands
End – St David’s peninsula. Cattle meander down coastal lanes, dolphins and puffins play off the 56 beaches, visitors explore St Davids, the UK’s smallest cathedral town and home to the patron Saint of Wales. Walkers contemplate the 186-mile coastal path. With monastic islands, seals, true fishing villages, wildflowers, ancient memories, bird colonies, stunning beaches… Pembrokeshire continues to beguile those wanting to enjoy its dramatic and often unexpected scenes of natural beauty.
Amongst many holiday activities to enjoy in West Wales are walking, bird watching, boat trips, geological excursions, horseback riding, golf, surfing, fishing, coasteering, cycling, and diving plus a variety of family tourist attractions. Very few guest houses, b&bs or hotels have the seaside location we have in Pembrokeshire. We are a great choice for people looking for a hotel in Haverfordwest or a bed and breakfast in Haverfordwest. Only a few mile away, you get the best of both worlds with our seaside location.

We wanted Puffin photos, staying for 5 nights to allow for bad weather. We had no car, and Helen was really helpful in finding out travel details, time to get there in time to ensure booking on a boat. And sorted a taxi to take us. Plus provided lunch since there is nothing on Skomer. And got up early to give us an early breakfast. Wow!
Conveniently situated for the coastal path and local attractions.

Our second stay here – walking the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. A treasure of a place with friendly welcome from Helen the owner, gorgeous views over the bay, and rooms which are en suite, clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished. Added bonus is the Italian restaurant in the same building with delicious food.
The beach is beautiful and gently busy with people enjoying themselves – walking dogs, surfing or kite surfing, canoeing, or just doing not very much at all. It is such a large beach, especially at low tide, that I would never have described it as busy when I’ve been there, but I imagine it could get that way in mid-summer.
